SCHUBERT PALMER MD, FACC, FSCAI
West Coast Music & Worship Conference Presenter
H. Schubert Palmer MD is a graduate of Northern Caribbean University, Andrews University, Loma Linda University School of Medicine, and Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He has practiced in Southern California for over thirty years as a board certified internist and interventional cardiologist, and currently serves as Cardiology Section Chief at White Memorial Medical Center, Los Angeles, supervising both the Cardiac Rehab and Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. He has also served for many years as local elder, Minister of Music, Sabbath School teacher and, with his wife, Yolanda Innocent Palmer, served as Family Life Directors at the Berean Seventh-day Adventist Church in Los Angeles. He is author of the well-received book, God Must Be Crazy, a fascinating Bible-based study of God’s amazing love.
Together with his wife, Yolanda, they founded Heart and Soul International (HSI), a church-supporting, 501(c)(3) ministry that incorporates health and the music ministry to strengthen the physical, emotional and spiritual health of families. They hosted a weekly health radio show, and presently conduct health and family life workshops, seminars and concerts around the world. Their acclaimed Health outreach series, “Is There A Doctor In The House?” involves presentations (and cooking class) by Dr Palmer and his team of health professionals and lifestyle counselors. And their musical production, The Ten Commandments Musical: Love At Work, presented at the Washington National Cathedral and numerous other venues, has helped open the eyes of many to see God's Divine Law not as a list of do's and don'ts, but as a revelation of God's Love At Work.
